Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Konsta.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use the service.

These terms apply to all users, whether you're just browsing or actively learning Estonian.

Description of Service

Konsta.app is a free Estonian language learning platform that uses AI-generated dialogues, native audio pronunciation, and personalized vocabulary tracking to help you learn Estonian from A1 to C2 levels.

The service is provided "as-is" and is currently in beta, which means features may change, improve, or occasionally break as I continue developing the platform.

As a solo developer, I'm doing my best to keep everything running smoothly, but I can't guarantee 100% uptime or perfection.

User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe
• One account per person (don't create multiple accounts)
• Don't share your account with others

Account Security

You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact me immediately via the Contact page.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Abuse the service: Don't attempt to hack, disrupt, overload, or damage the platform
• Scrape data: Don't use bots or automated tools to harvest data from Konsta.app
• Violate laws: Don't use the service for any illegal purpose
• Impersonate: Don't pretend to be someone else or create fake accounts
• Spam: Don't use the platform to send spam or harass other users
• Reverse engineer: Don't try to copy, decompile, or steal the source code

Basically: Be a decent human being. Use the service to learn Estonian, not to cause trouble.

Intellectual Property

My Content

All content on Konsta.app—including lesson dialogues, platform design, code, and branding—is owned by me (Konstantin). You can't copy, redistribute, or reuse this content without permission.

Your Content

When you upload photos or custom topics to generate lessons, you retain ownership of that content. However, you grant me a license to use it solely to create personalized lessons for you.

I won't share your uploaded content with others or use it for purposes beyond generating your lessons.

Free Service & No Guarantees

• 100% Free: Konsta.app is completely free. No hidden fees, no premium tiers, no credit card required.
• No uptime guarantees: I strive for high availability, but I can't guarantee the service will always be accessible
• Beta status: Features may change, improve, or be removed as I develop the platform
• No refunds: Since the service is free, there's nothing to refund!

Disclaimers

Not a Certified Program

Konsta.app is a learning tool, not an accredited language course. I don't issue certificates or official credentials.

No Exam Guarantees

While Konsta.app follows CEFR standards (A1-C2), I can't guarantee you'll pass any specific language exam (like the Estonian citizenship exam). Your results depend on your effort, consistency, and how you supplement your learning.

AI-Generated Content

Lessons are generated by AI (Google Gemini). While I strive for accuracy, AI can occasionally make mistakes. If you spot errors, please report them via the Contact page.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for any damages arising from your use (or inability to use) Konsta.app. This includes:

• Lost data or progress
• Service outages or downtime
• Errors in lesson content
• Any consequential or indirect damages

I'm a solo developer providing a free service. I'll do my best to fix issues, but please understand I can't be held responsible for every possible problem.

Changes to Terms

I may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When I do, I'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the landing page or via email.

Continued use of Konsta.app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

Your Right to Leave

You can delete your account anytime from your profile settings. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days (see the Privacy Policy for details).

My Right to Terminate

I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, especially if you're abusing the platform, attempting to hack it, or causing problems for other users.

I'll try to give you a heads-up before terminating your account, but in serious cases (like security threats), I may act immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Estonia, where the service is hosted and operated. Any disputes will be resolved under Estonian jurisdiction.
