Why Duolingo Doesn't Have Estonian
Duolingo is great for Spanish, French, Japanese — big languages with millions of learners. Estonian has about 1.1 million native speakers. It's just not worth their business model. No shade — they're a business.
But that leaves you, the person who actually NEEDS Estonian, without their best tool. So here's what I built instead.

Why I Built This
I moved to Estonia. I needed Estonian. Duolingo didn't have it. Babbel had like 2 lessons. Memrise taught me the word for 'lighthouse' before 'excuse me.' So I built my own thing. I'm still learning — but at least now I have a tool that's actually moving the needle. It's free because I built it for myself, not to sell you something.

FAQ
Does Duolingo have Estonian?
No. As of 2026, still no. I check every few months. There's also no Estonian on Babbel, Rosetta Stone, or Busuu.
Is Konsta.app free like Duolingo?
Yes, completely free. No premium tier, no hearts, no ads. I built this for myself and decided to share it.
How is it different from other Estonian apps?
Most apps teach you word lists. I teach you conversations — the stuff you actually need when a cashier at Selver asks you something and you freeze.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. It's a web app that works on any device — iPhone, Android, tablet, laptop. No app store needed.
